Sometimes leadership looks like the gregarious leading lady of a sitcom and other times it looks like a quiet independent woman who is self reliant- for Lila she is the latter and is definitely living up to some of those temperament traits that the Bernese are known for! Don’t expect Lila to be your best friend right away- her heart is suspicious and aloof towards strangers but her love is shown through protection to her loved ones! This girl is an investigator- acting like a tracker out in the wild looking for clues and tiptoeing around the kennel as if she is about to come upon the biggest discovery of her hunt! Lila would be living her best life on a rural property where she could put her guard dog tendencies to good use and find purpose partnering with humans to work for them rather than be a playmate! She wants problem solving over toys, mellow companionship rather than childish antics, and independence over snuggle sessions! If you are looking for your next ranch hand- Lila is the one for you!
Lila was born with a thinning hair on the backside of her ears and you can’t see it unless you are trying to find it. We feel as she gets older, that hair will grow in but it’s in the same spot in each ear and seems to be purely a cosmetic genetic issue. She hasn’t had any skin infections to cause this, nor do we feel this was the result of her siblings chewing on them. See additional photos!
She has gone through Super Dog Training, this is a protocol used to stimulate her senses starting from the second day after she was born up until she is 16 days old. This is also known as (ENS) Early Neurological Stimulation. By gently engaging her senses, her brain goes into rapid development much sooner and she will be able to adapt to changes in her environment more smoothly. The $400 reservation fee is deducted off of the final invoice that is emailed to you after Blue Diamond Family Pups receives your reservation/deposit.
